Kush Supports Breast Cancer Awareness

In my research to develop Kush, I learned a great deal about breasts and the needs of women. A staggering truth is that EVERY woman is at some risk for breast cancer – it’s merely the risk of living as a woman. In fact, breast cancer is the most common cancer to affect women.

Most of us know someone who has been touched by breast cancer in some way. For me personally, I have been inspired and motivated by my Aunt Nel. Sharing the same birthday has given me a special connection with my Aunt and I fondly remember those lovely summer months spent with her in Holland. So it touched me deeply when she was initially diagnosed in 2006. She is fighting her battle bravely and victoriously, and is greatly loved and completely admired.

I have always believed in giving of my talents and my good fortune. So, for my Aunt Nel, and for the thousands of women who fight their own battle with this disease every day, I am donating a portion of all proceeds of the sale of Kush for breast cancer research and support. It is my greatest hope that we will someday find the causes and cures that impact so many women and families every day.

In Support of a Cure

“Breast cancer! I heard those terribly frightening words when I was diagnosed with breast cancer in July of 2006. But through research, modern medicine and the fundraising efforts of good people like my niece, Cathinka (the inventor of Kush), I am a breast cancer survivor with a new appreciation of how fragile life truly is. Cathinka and Kush have a common goal with millions of others on this planet – finding a cure. Together we can make it happen.”
